For over 15 years, Rick Brooks has been on the cutting edge of acoustic music in Alaska, and might just be the finest acoustic guitarist performing regularly in the state.

A veteran of thousands of gigs in a multitude of styles, including touring outside of Alaska and appearing on national radio shows like ‘West Coast – Live”, Rick has performed with many of today’s leading guitarists, including Brit-folk legend John Renbourn and Wings (with Paul McCartney) guitarist Laurence Juber, as well as fingerstyle masters Tim Sparks and Tony McManus.

 

He has also opened shows for many of the great acoustic bluesmen such as John Hammond, Paul Geremia, and Guy Davis.
